CAFA Soccer is the mobile application of the Cameroon Arlington Football Association (CAFA). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the CAFA Soccer application.
Information We Handle
Public users can use CAFA Soccer without creating an account.
The application may display association information entered by authorized CAFA administrators, including player names, player photographs, team information, player statistics, match results, attendance information, memberships, sanctions, meeting reports, events, and other CAFA-related information.
Authorized administrators sign in using an email address and password.
How We Use Information
- Display match results and player statistics
- Manage player profiles and photographs
- Manage memberships, sanctions, expenses, and association records
- Publish meeting reports and upcoming events
- Provide in-app alerts when CAFA information is updated
- Allow authorized administrators to manage application content
- Maintain administrative activity records for security and accountability
Firebase and Service Providers
CAFA Soccer uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage. These services are used for authentication, application data storage, player photographs, and related application functions.
CAFA does not sell personal information to advertisers or other third parties.
Player Information and Photographs
Player information and photographs may be added by authorized CAFA administrators and displayed to users of the application. Members who want information or photographs corrected or removed may contact CAFA using the contact information below.
Administrator Accounts
Administrator email addresses are used for authentication, access control, and administrative activity logging. Administrator passwords are managed through Firebase Authentication and are not stored directly by the CAFA Soccer application.
Data Retention
CAFA retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain association records, operate the application, and support legitimate administrative purposes.
Data Correction and Deletion
CAFA members may request correction or deletion of personal information associated with them by contacting CAFA. Requests will be reviewed and handled by an authorized CAFA administrator.
Data Security
CAFA Soccer uses authenticated administrator access and Firebase security controls to protect administrative functions and stored information. Public users have read-only access to information intended for public display.
Children's Privacy
CAFA Soccer is intended for association and community use and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children through account registration.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when CAFA Soccer features or data-handling practices change. The current version will be made available at this public webpage.
